About the Author
Hi, reader! Thanks for stopping by to learn more about E is for Economics, L is for Law, and M is for Medicine.
Veronica is a children's book author based in the Washington, D.C. area where she lives with her husband, daughter, and beloved cat, Galileo. She always hoped she'd write a book; she just didn't think it'd be one for people who can't read...yet.
She was inspired to write E is for Economics to share the language of her work with her own budding bookworm, and her hope is that it might entertain other parents and the children who love them. The process of writing E is for Economics inspired other book ideas and made her realize she has many more stories to tell! Her goal is to add diversity to the types of children's books available to families everywhere, nurture a love of reading in children, and keep their parents engaged during reading time.
She has graduate degrees in economics and management from Johns Hopkins University, and she earned her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University.
She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
